Vaishno Devi (also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta, Ambe and Vaishnavi) is a manifestation of the Hindu mother goddess Lakshmi. Vaishno Devi is worshipped as a combined avatar of the goddesses Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasarasvati. Additionally, she is seen as the potency of Hari or Vishnu.
It is said that Bhairon Nath, a famous Hindu Tantric, saw the young Vaishno Devi at an agricultural fair and fell madly in lusty love with her. Vaishno Devi fled into Trikuta hills to escape his amorous advances, later she turned into her original form of Durga and cut off his head with her sword in a cave.

It is also the centre of Sikhism and the site of the Sikhs' principal place of worship—the Harmandir Sahib, or Golden Temple. Amritsar is the economic capital of Punjab. It is a major tourist centre with nearly a hundred thousand daily visitors. 
Golden Temple, Amritsar The golden city of Amritsar dwells in Punjab and translates to "Pond of nectars". The entire town was built upon the famous Harmandir Sahib or the golden temple, from which civilization began. 

Day 1: Anand to Katra Train
     Board your train from Anand for Katra.  Overnight train journey.

Day 2: Arrival in Katra
     Arrive in Katra and check into your hotel. Rest of the evening will be free for leisure. Overnight stay at Katra.

Day 3: Katra - Vaishno Devi Darshans
     Start the 3rd day of your Vaishno Devi tour with a breakfast, then proceed to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan- one of the most popular pilgrimage of India situated in Trikuta Hills.

     Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 Kms from Ban Ganga Bridge in Katra. An alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars, ponies/palkis/helicopter.

     If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Temple. Now a ropeway connects Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairo Temple.

     After visiting the temples, return to the hotel in Katra and relax in your hotel. Overnight stay at Katra.

Day 5: Katra – Amritsar Train
     After having breakfast at the hotel, checkout the hotel, board the train for Amritsar. On arrival Amritsar meet our driver, you will transfer to hotel, check in the hotel. Rest of the evening will be free for leisure. Overnight stay at Amritsar.

Day 6: Amritsar Sightseeing
     After having breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you from your hotel for Amritsar local sightseeing like Golden Temple, Jaliawalan Bagh, Market, Wagha Border etc. Overnight stay at Amritsar.

Day 4: Amritsar – Vadodara Train
     After having breakfast at the hotel, checkout the hotel, our driver will pick you from your hotel and drop you Amritsar railway station, board your train for Vadodara. Overnight train journey.
